Over the years it has been our pleasure to work with customers from a wide variety of backgrounds. Just for fun I would like to take a minute away from the nuts and bolts (or logs and beams) of log homes and introduce you to some of the people who own them.

Award #1 Most Unique Use for a Log Home:

Quote:  “I’m a movie producer. I need a few cabins for my next picture. Nothing fancy, just some cabins that we can fill with bullet holes and blow up for the finale of the movie. What do you have along those lines?”

Answer: “Not a whole lot…”

Award #2 Extremely Rewarding Construction Comment:

Quote: “Wow! I’m speechless.  Looks great!  Thanks for sending the pictures.  Sooooo Excited.”

Answer: “Its our pleasure!”

The Bear Creek Plan Log Home Owners

Award #3 Most Touching Inquiry:

Quote: “Our home was lost in a flash wildfire. We lost our custom log home and everything we owned. Then after the fire we discovered we were under insured and do not have enough funds to rebuild what we lost.”

Answer: …what can I even say…

Award #4 Best Excuse for Delaying Building (by a police officer):

Quote: “Sorry for the delay, but things just took a turn… an ex police officer [is] hunting down and killing other police officers so I will be tied up for a few until he is caught.  I did get the quote, but I’m unable to do anything until this fruit cake is behind bars.  I will get back to you as soon as I can…”

Answer: “Be careful!!”

Any projected costs, cost estimates, material costs, and estimated construction/ building costs, are only the opinion of Cowboy Log Homes and are drawn from our experience. Every home is custom tailored to meet our individual client's wants and desires. The construction of a log or timber home is based on two primary costs: material provided by the log home company and construction costs contracted with Cowboy Log Homes as the builder or another builder of the customer's choice. Final costs are obtained and contracted with each respectively.
