Interior of Stacked Log Gable Dormer on Log Home
This is the interior of a stacked log gable. The logs are 9″ Swedish Cope and the logs have been beveled back on site to frame the window visually. Stacked log gable dormers are possible but more expensive than framed dormers and considerably more time-consuming to build. Another option to obtain the same look is to frame the dormers and cover them on the interior and exterior with matching log siding. But for some, solid log dormers is very important.
