Heavy Square Timbers for Log Roof System
Here are some heavy square timbers that will be used with an 8×8 D log home for the roof system. Square timbers are also being used in this Sierra log home plan for the support posts, second floor floor joists, porch posts, and girder beam. Often a D-log profile is paired with a square timber roof system so that flat profiles are used on both the interior of the log walls and the timber roofing overhead.
