In these cases they are typically referring to a home that is built on a frame of some sort and delivered to the job site intact.

A log cabin kit is basically composed of logs milled to a consistent diameter, log wall assembly materials, and construction drawings. The logs are shipped to the job site, off loaded, and built into the cabin on the job site. There is no prefabrication of walls, roof, etc.
