This photo shows and up close look at the intricate round post and beam system that went into making this home.  The floor joists supporting the posts are also round. I love the stepped back rounded floor line to the loft. Also worth noting is the massiveness of the log posts on the first floor. An extensive kitchen is begin installed. This superstructure is made from Douglas Fir, one of the very strongest wood species. All of the logs have a hand peeled finish and also are hand sanded before they were shipped to the customer.
