This photo shows a round post and beam garage with stucco. This is attached to an 8×8 machine milled log home built from Western Red Cedar. The post and beam garage has Western Red Cedar Shakes in the gables and in the dormer. The post and beams are constructed of Douglas Fir. A common question is if a garage can be added to a floor plan. Actually an attached garage can be added to any home plan. The plan may require some modifications to incorporate it, but it is a very commonly added feature to all sixes of homes. Also of interest is the varied door heights.
