This is a second photo of the stone faced post and beam turret. This six sided turret it two stories tall. Also known as a log gazebo, these additions to a home can contain living space or spiral log staircases. The post and beam construction is visible on the inside and outside of the home (notice the round logs exposed to the outside), while still allowing the home owner the flexibility of choosing any exterior finish they desire. This particular home is completed with stone on the turret and stucco on the rest of the exterior. Many large luxury log home include a turret into their floor plan. Cowboy Log Homes
