This photo shows a post and beam home that the owner chose to stone. In the center of the photo the log turret is showcased. The owners chose a darker log stain to contrast with the gray stones. To the left of the photo this part of the home was finished in stucco. Post and beam construction can be done in either Englemann Spruce, Douglas Fir, or Western Red Cedar. The Douglas Fir has been the most popular over the last few years. The contractor is just finishing the staining of the logs after the stone and mortar work was finished. Cowboy Log Homes
