This photo is also of the interior of the Hunter Post and Beam Home. This shot is taken from slightly further back than the one highlighting the log king truss from the inside. This staircase is unique in that it is custom designed as a handcrafted log flair staircase. The bottom of this staircase appears to flair out to the sides at the bottom. This is accomplished by using hand scribed stringers. Each step is custom notched into the staircase. Little bits of added character to a home like this is often noticed and commented on by visitors to this lake front home. The handcrafted log post and floor joist is also visible in this home.
