This is log prowl roof line is made of Douglas Fir round post and beam construction. Douglas Fir is one of the very strongest woods and is often used for post and beam homes. Each log purloin is flattened on the top to receive the roofing finish material. To keep the consistency log to log these logs were first turned in a log lathe to make them a consistent diameter.
