This photo shows the log walls fully stacked just before the roof system is installed. This is another 8×8 inch D-log profile. The corners are a full saddle notch. On of the most notiable features is the pitch cut for the roof which is shown on the corners at the top of the stacked log wall. This home is 15 rounds high. The log species is Englemann Spruce (very white in color). The door and window openings are fully cut and the 2×4 spleen channel in the openings are also visible. The two logs extending past the corner on the front right side of the photo are to support the covered front porch. Cowboy Log Homes
