This is the kitchen of the Montana log home design. The kitchen boasts hickory cabinets, hunter green ceramic tile flooring, and lovely counter tops. The open loft is visible above, just beyond the handcrafted log railing. Adding the skylight above the island added a lot of natural light to the kitchen. Once again the cedar ceilings and handcrafted roof system are also very noticeable in this log home photo. The theme of the moose, introduced by the custom light fixture, was carried on by the new homeowners through out the kitchen decor. Locating the microwave above the stove saved on counter space in this kitchen. Montana is one of the most popular states in the West to build a log home.
