This photo is of the open loft and staircase in the Queest Plan. The supporting post and ridge beam are of handcrafted round log. 1×6 Pine tougue and groove lumber is shown on the ceilings and also on the stairway wall. The loft and stair railing is of 4×4, 2×4, and 2×2 railing material. The stairs are pre-assembled Douglas Fir timber stairs.  and a pre-assembled Douglas Fir landing.
