This is a picture of one of our traditional timber frame homes. The timber frames are part of our handcrafted log home family. For our heavy timber frames there is no machine cuts. With close inspection it is easy to see the lack of metal plating. All of our joinery is hand scribed joints such as mortise and tenon and dove tails. Timber framing is a tradition with strong roots in the early 1900′s. Timber framing allows for very open construction. The log species for this home is Douglas Fir. Cowboy Log Homes
