This is the kitchen of the North Pole Plan. The round handcrafted log beam is visible in the top of the photo. The ceiling is once more shown in finished drywall. Also the walls are painted white. Very commonly kitchen and bathrooms have drywall or blue board installed on the walls. In this photo even the logs around the window are covered in drywall. This makes cleaning much easier than dealing with solid logs. Also finished walls give the option of either paint or wall paper for some variation. Cowboy Log Homes
