Pictured here is the great room of the Melody Ranch Plan. The kitchen is set back along the back and side wall of the log home. 1×6 pine tongue and groove line the cathedral ceilings. Smooth finished walls of drywall or stucco complete the inside of the gable dormer. The log species is Western Red Cedar. I love the cowhide covered chair, American flag pillows, cowboy hat, and steer head that all give this handcrafted log home a feel of the American West (even though it is situated in The Netherlands!)
