This photo shows the side elevation of the Melody Ranch. The vertical posts in the gable end are used instead of a log truss. This allows ample room for the large custom windows. The wide overhangs on this home help to reduce the amount of sun that shines into the home directly. Three rows of long log ends protrude out from the top of the stacked log wall corners. The roof is done is architectural asphalt shingles. There are ten rounds of handcrafted logs in each wall. Round log beams are used for the ridge and purloins and to complete the timber framed ends of this home. Cowboy Log Homes
