This is the a bedroom from the North Pole Plan. This rich color of the logs can be seen as where the logs were recessed for the door and window openings. The round log floor joist is visible overhead and the corners are the diamond cut pattern. The ceiling is shown in finished drywall. Many times pine or cedar 1×6 tongue and groove is also used to finish the ceilings. Handcrafted log homes are very distinctive in their log size, finish, corner styles.  Cowboy Log Homes
