The Lodge

This photo is taken of the two main log buildings at Queen Charlotte Lodge. Located on an island on the Pacific coast, the only access is by a helicopter such as the one seen landing here, or coming by barge from the main land. The Totem Building, pictured in the previous photo is on the left hand side of the photo. Both of these buildings utilize wide porches and multi levels. If you notice closely the building on the left has log siding on the gable end while the building on the right has tongue and groove pine installed on the gable end. The Totem, built most recently, took three weeks worth of preparation work just for the D-log stacked walls.
