This is a collection of small log cabins done for a lodge. These cabins are a variation of the Beachcraft Plan. The walls are machine milled stacked log. The roof system, porch support posts, and railing is all handcrafted round log. These cabins are build on crawl space foundations. Notice how the logs were stained before the windows and doors were installed. This is a smart time saving tip for anyone building a log home. This keeps the overspray and any drips from touching the windows. Masking off and taping windows to protect them is a time consuming endeavor.
