This is a handcrafted log lodge. Built overlooking a mountain lake, massive log posts two stories high support the wide veranda on the front. The front of this log building is constructed with the post and beam style. Solid log stacked walls make up the log other sides. The extended deck gives guests the option of going out closer to the lake for even more view. The round log King truss on the front of the veranda is made with mortise and tenon joinery. The extended roof prowl gives reduces the amount of sunlight that directly penetrates into the building.
