This is a photo of the outside of the Istken, built for a Native American tribe. This is a twelve sided building made from handcrafted logs. The heavy log posts can be seen on each corner. The interior photo of the roof system shows the intricate design. The drafts of this structure not only had to pass the usual rigorous engineering qualifications, but it was also required that the various tribe leaders approved. Built to match expectations, the community was very pleased to view it on completion. The general roof was somewhat similar to our log gazebos and turrets. Cowboy Log Homes
