Chalet Log Homes

This is a second collection of the Chalet Plans, shown here from the rear. These log cabins are built from 8×8 inch D-logs with handcrafted log roof systems. One of the second floor balconies is shown here. The shed roof off the side of the cabin is also solid log and is for the rear entrance to the cabin and the utility room. Since these log homes were built on cement slabs a place was needed for the utilities and laundry machines. The gable ends appear to be solid log, but they are in fact framed walls covered with log siding. The solid log walls stop at a height of about nine feet. Cowboy Log Homes
