This is the interior of one of the bedrooms at Crystal Creek Lodge, Alaska. This room is located in one of the post and beam wings of the building. The cathedral ceiling makes this room look even bigger. The walls are finished in 1×6 pine tongue and groove instead of traditional sheet rock. This gives even more rustic feel to the lodge. Sometimes log homes are built with a handcrafted log roof system over the great room area of the home and then the bedroom wings are utilize standard trusses such as in our Chinook Plan.
