This is the dome of a tribal meeting house. It was custom designed in a twelve sided shape for a Native American tribe in British Columbia. Much planning and designing was required to make this “Istken Circle” structurally sound and also to meet the expectations of the tribal leaders. Lake Country has done some very unique projects, but this was one of the highly unusual ones. This log dome is contructed with a hole in the middle to allow smoke to escape. Handcrafted turned logs were used for the entire roof system. 1×6 Pine tongue and groove can be seen on the ceilings. Cowboy Log Homes
